The MCCQE as it runs now, not as it ran in 2024.
Clinical Decision-Making cases are no longer a separate part of the exam. Everything is single-best-answer multiple choice, and our mock follows the same shape.

Questions that teach the reasoning
3,310 questions across Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry and PHELO. Each one explains why the right answer is right and why every other option is wrong.
- Mapped to the MCC objectives
- Practice, timed exam, review and adaptive modes
- Confidence tagging to catch lucky guesses
- 199 questions with clinical images

A full mock in the real exam’s shape
Sit 230 questions in two timed sections of 115, with 2 hours 40 minutes for each and a break in between, drawn across all six disciplines.
- Same length and timing as the MCCQE
- Exit and resume: the clock pauses while you are away
- Results broken down by discipline

351 revision notes written for the exam
Each note opens with Key Exam Points, most end with how the topic is likely to be tested, and every note links straight to the matching questions and flashcard deck.
- Canadian pathways, guidance and law where they matter
- Highlight, annotate and bookmark as you read
- Most notes take 4 to 6 minutes to read

2,494 flashcards with spaced repetition
324 decks, one per topic. Rate each card Again, Hard, Good or Easy and the ones you nearly know come back first.
- Learn, review and cram modes
- Decks linked from notes and questions
- Keyboard shortcuts for fast review

74 podcast episodes for the commute
Almost 13 hours of two-host audio, each episode built around the decisions the exam asks you to make, grouped by discipline.
- Most episodes run 8 to 13 minutes
- The player remembers where you stopped
- Linked to the matching notes and questions

Analytics that tell you what to do next
See accuracy and coverage for every discipline, which areas are weak, and a predicted exam score that firms up as you answer more.
- Topic mastery chart and weak-topic list
- Coverage of the bank by discipline
- Weekly activity and streaks
- Study planner and Buddy study
Every discipline the MCC tests, mapped to its objectives.
Questions are tagged to the MCC objectives, so you can practise one objective, one discipline or the whole bank.
Canadian guidance, not a US bank with a new label.
Many candidates, especially international medical graduates, find the hardest marks are in Canadian law, ethics and health-system questions. The course is written for that.
Law, ethics and consent
Consent and capacity, minors, MAID safeguards and duty-to-report questions, taught the way the MCC frames them.
- MAID when natural death is not reasonably foreseeable
- Advance care planning before incapacity in Ontario
Provincial pathways
Where care differs by province, the notes say which pathway they describe and what generalises.
- Suspected preeclampsia in Alberta obstetrical triage
- Ontario cervical screening and HPV follow-up
The health system
PHELO is 405 questions on its own, covering screening, drug funding, public health and how Canadian care is organized.
- From Health Canada authorization to Ontario drug funding
- Opioid use: treatment choices and overdose response

Established in the UK. Now in Canada.
Revision Pro is a UK revision platform for postgraduate medical exams. Doctors use it for MRCP and the Specialty Certificate Exams of the Royal Colleges of Physicians. The MCCQE course runs on the same platform, with the same question format, analytics and study tools.
After using other question banks, I discovered Revision Pro SCE, which became my first choice Q bank. The huge bank of well-organised questions, progress tracking, high-yield notes, and evidence-based podcasts helped me successfully pass the ESEGH exam.
Excellent course covering all basic SCE aspects. The structured approach with topics organised by themes allowed me to identify weak areas and track progress. The podcasts made last minute revision so easy.
Very informative platform that guided me to focus my study despite daily busy working life.
Reviews are from UK learners on our Specialty Certificate Exam courses. MCCQE reviews will appear here once Canadian candidates have sat the exam.
The full mock is in every plan. It is not an add-on.
A full-length mock is the closest you get to exam day before the real thing. Some MCCQE prep providers sell their practice exam separately, or keep it for their most expensive plan. Every Revision Pro plan includes the full 230-question mock, from CA$149.

Questions candidates ask us
Is the course up to date with the current MCCQE format?
Yes. The MCCQE is now 230 multiple-choice questions in two sections of 115, with up to 2 hours 40 minutes for each section, and no separate Clinical Decision-Making component. Our questions are single best answer and our mock follows the same length and timing.
How do the questions map to the MCC objectives?
Every question is tagged to an MCC objective within one of six disciplines: Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry and PHELO. You can practise by discipline or across the whole bank.
What is included?
3,310 questions, a 230-question timed mock, 351 revision notes, 2,494 flashcards in 324 decks, 74 podcast episodes, analytics and a study planner.
Is the mock exam an extra cost?
No. The full 230-question mock, in two timed sections of 115, is included in every plan. Some providers sell their practice exam separately. We do not.
What happens if I do not pass?
If you bought your plan at least 30 days before your exam, sat the exam during your access and did not pass, we extend your access free to the end of the next exam window after your access would have ended. Send us your MCC score report within 30 days of your result. This is an extension of access, not a refund, and it applies once per learner. Full conditions are in clause 4.5 of our Terms.
Is the content Canadian or adapted from another country?
It is written for the MCCQE. Where the answer depends on Canadian law, ethics, provincial pathways or Canadian guidance, the explanations and notes name the Canadian source they rely on.
I am an international medical graduate. Is this for me?
Yes. The exam is delivered in Canada and in Prometric test centres in more than 70 other countries, and many of our notes focus on the Canadian law, ethics and health-system topics that are new to doctors trained elsewhere.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
No. You create an account with your email and study real trial content. You only pay if you choose a plan.
Does my plan renew automatically?
No. Every plan is a single one-off payment. Access ends on the date shown when you buy.
Can I study on my phone?
Yes. The platform works in any modern browser on phone, tablet and desktop.
